Deprived of all offices and imprisoned in the Tower 14 Oct. 1549--6 Feb. 1549/50; pardoned 8 Feb. 1549/50 (but under virtual house arrest for 6 weeks). Arrested and imprisoned for treason in the Tower 16 Oct. 1551; tried 1 Dec. 1551; beheaded. Attainted and all honours forfeited 12 April 1552
