The kitchen was situated on the ground floor to the W of the central vestibule. 2 fireplaces remain in the S and W walls.

Commentary
The likely site of the demolished great hall lies between the ruinous SE solar tower and the remains of the domestic range to the SE. St Peter's Church can be seen through the gap in the wall.
