A fine hall with generous proportions and excellent acoustics, still retaining its Jacobean character. More spacious than Gawthorpe but not on the scale of Stonyhurst.

A modern wooden floor covers the original stone flags.

The hall remains intact, for private use and public tours at specified times of the year.
