Took part in Oct. 1483 uprising against Richard III in Kent; attainted Jan. 1483/4; fled to the Continent and joined Henry Tudor in Brittany; land in England with Henry Aug. 1485; attainder reversed Nov. 1485. In Ireland 13 Oct. 1494--Dec. 1495. On the Continent May--Nov. 1512 (in the Netherlands), and 1513--Feb. 1514/15 (residing at Tournai), May--Sept. 1515 and Feb. 1515/16--April 1516. Obtained wardships of Henry Pympe and Humphrey Stafford 1497, and Edward Fiennes, 9th Baron Clinton 1518
