The measurements are those given in a survey of the manor in 1571 (as cited by A.D., 'Danny' 420) but may approximate those of the later hall.
The early 18th c. ground plan of the hall confirms the existence of 2 bay windows in the outer wall and a door at the SW corner of the upper end leading to the great parlour. Later remodelling has altered the design of these features.
There is no evidence of a former minstrels' gallery but the Victorian fireplace at the centre of the inner (W) wall is likely on or near the site of the Elizabethan fireplace.
