Notes

Ward of Henry de Percy, 5th Earl of Northumberland 1421--1425 (when he attained his majority). Fled to Cumberland after the battle of Towton 29 March 1461; captured at Cockermouth; agreed to pay bond for good conduct 1 May 1461; imprisoned in the Tower for failure to pay bond 12 July 1461; pardoned 5 Feb. 1461/2. Charged with treason late 1463; acquitted and at liberty by early 1464
