Notes

Notes:

The mayor and alderman had paid the troupe, called players of interludes and servants, not to play, partly because they had come from an infected city and they feared spreading the plague. However, they performed in their host's house, and the city officials decided that the troupe should never again receive any reward from the city. Players named James Tunstall, Thomas Cook, Edward Brown, William Harrison & others
