The patent presented on 30 March named players (called servants) Thomas Green, Christopher Beeston, Thomas Heywood, Richard Perkins, Robert Pallant, Thomas Swinnerton, John Duke, Robert Lee, James Holt and Robert Beeston, but only Swinnerton and Lee were in Norwich. They were offered money to desist from playing, which they refused. They were licenced to play 'four days this next week'
