A letter from Lord Burghley to Vice-Chancellor John Hatcher asking him allow Oxford's troupe, who planned to spend 4 or 5 days in Cambridge, to perform at the university. The troupe apparently presented this letter to Hatcher, who (as he later reported to Burghley) was unable to allow the players to perform for various reasons. Record continues on p 291
