Notes

Notes:

Players named Thomas Greene and John Duke, who testified that the mayor gave them authority to play in the town hall and ordered the building of a stage and the taking down of the glass windows. They were apparently fined 20 pounds, but these players, on behalf of their company, entered into a bond with the university whereby they would pay the 20 pounds only if they ever performed again within a 5 mile radius of Cambridge University or Town
