Commentary
The hall is lit by 3 high 2-light windows on the S wall (shown here), 2 high 2-light windows on the N wall and a larger window with 4 lights on 2 levels at the dais end.

The windows retain their late-15th c. heraldic glass with the arms of families intermarried with the Edgcumbes contained within diamond-shaped shields.
