Overview

Not to be confused with the late 16th c. Stanley Palace (formerly Derby House) which remains standing on Watergate Street. This black and white building was probably built by Peter Warburton (d. 1621) and subsequently moved via marriage into the possession of the Stanleys of Alderley, Cheshire.

Current Status

Demolished.
