Little is known about the house of Richard Fyneaux, mayor of Dover in 1496--7 and 1503--4. Although players were paid at his premises when he was mayor in 1503--4, the house was likely an inn or tavern rather than a personal or mayoral residence, since a number of other performances occurred on his premises after he had served as mayor.
In 1509--10 Lord Abergavenny's Players were paid at Fyneaux's establishment.
