Blithfield Manor
Description / History (pre-1642)
The hall’s roof was of oak with a glazed lantern in the centre. Its chimney piece contains late 16th-c. paneling painted with 12 Bagot shields. A [date?] musicians' gallery stood at the E end of the hall, with an oak staircase (carved c. 1640-50, and reset c. 1660--70) leading down to it.
