Nothing is known about The Crown in New Romney.
A possible performance venue. A payment for the expenses of Cardinal Wolsey's Minstrels was made at the Crown in 1526--7. The minstrels may also have performed at The Crown. The expenses of the King's Bearwards were also paid at The Crown in 1520--1 and 1527--8.
