The coved oak roof is supported by 3 arches with moulded pilasters and octagonal capitals on the walls. A screen, also with ornamental pilasters, and minstrels’ gallery are at the low end.

The entrance is via a porch whose inner door is decorated with 6 carved shields with the arms of the Dutton and Hatton families.
