A 3-storey inn located on the S side of Petty Cury. The building survived, although not in continuous use as an inn, until the late 20th c.
The dimensions of the inn yard ca. 1880 were approximately 66.4' x 17' (Nelson, Early Cambridge theatres 95).
A single performance at the Falcon by the Duke of Norfolk's players was recorded by a Cambridge diarist in May 1557. Whether it was an indoor or outdoor performance was not specified though the weather was warm and fair.

1972 Demolished and the site obliterated by the Lion Yard shopping centre.
