Located on the S side of Fore Street but later replaced by another guildhall incorporating some of the medieval fabric. The 'massive carved granite fireplace uncovered some years ago' in one of the rooms is presumed to have come from the original guildhall (Willmott, Bodmin 34).
The Victorian rebuilding on or close to the original site is now known as the 'Old Guildhall.'
Although few borough performance records survive, the guildhall is known to have been used by performers before 1642.
Replaced by a later building, now a bakery.
15th c. Borough records indicate the existence of a guildhall sometimes referred to as the 'Hall House' and probably also as the 'House of Petroc.'
