Our database identifies F. B. Bowter as performing in an “Ethiopian Serenaders” troupe with Dick Pelham and W.C. Randlyn in Newcastle, 1844 for a handful of dates between November 2nd and 7th. His name appears again in 1847 in the Philadelphia and Mississippi Ethiopian Serenaders in London and Bristol on dates between January 25th and July 19th. Other members of this company are listed as Palmer, Sefton, J.W. Sweeney and Wallford.
