Topics Mr. Jones discusses/discussed in previous lecture dates are as follows:
The lecture will be "on the identity and general resurrection of the human body- the connection between religion and learning- the immortality of the soul" The Kingston Chronicle even invited the "attention of the skeptical in particular to this opportunity of having their doubts removed, their difficulties overcome, and this subject, from which the whole machinery of moral as well as philosophical world is suspended, conveyed by the most convincing and infallible conclusions to their understanding."
"The fourth and last lecture will be delivered this evening at half past six—it will be conducted in the form of a Discussion, and the affirmative of the question supported—- “whether that state of society which leads to the formation of great manufacturing Establishments, and a large manufacturing population, is favourable to the cause of a free and just government.”
(Kingston Chronicle 19 Novemeber 1831, 2).
