Proposed "devoting Four Evening's Performances during the present Month, to Charitable Purposes." The proceeds of the first Evening to be placed at the disposal of the R. Rev'd. Bishop McDonell, and the Venerable Archdeacon Stuart, to distribute among the suffering Poor of Kingston" (Chroncile and Gazette, 12 April, 1837, 2).
