The Toronto-based Ontario Board censored some of the film's dialogue for local showings. In particular, the following lines were cut:

• on Reel V, Chuck's line "That isn't all she'll like."
• on Reel VIII, Ann's lines: "The very first time I went out with David he ruined a brand new eighty-five dollar dress I had. He was just awful. He didn't change the whole first year we were married. I used to think maybe it was the things he ate. I tried changing his diet around and everything."
• also on Reel VIII, Jeff's reply "Thank you."
