When I did write this book I took great pains,
\n<\/span>For I did walk, and think, and break my brains.
\n<\/span>My thoughts run out of breath, then down did<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> lie,
\n<\/span>And panted<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> with short wind, like those that die.
\n<\/span>When time had given ease and lent them<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> strength, \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> 5
\n<\/span>Then up they\u2019ll<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> get and run another length.
\n<\/span>Sometimes I kept my thoughts with a strict diet,<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\n<\/span>And made them fast with ease, and rest, and quiet,
\n<\/span>That they might run again with swifter speed,
\n<\/span>And by this course new fancies they could<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span> breed. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>10
