The branch\u00e8d atoms form each planted thing:
\nThe hooked points pull out, and make<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span> them spring;
\n<\/span>The atoms round give juice, the sharp give heat,<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\n<\/span>And those grow herbs, and fruits, and flowers sweet.<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\n<\/span>Those that are square and flat, not rough withal, \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> 5
\n<\/span>Make those which stone and minerals we call.
\n<\/span>But in all stones and minerals (no doubt)
\n<\/span>Sharp points do lie, which fiery sparks<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> strike out.
\n<\/span>Thus vegetables and minerals do<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> grow

\n<\/span>In animals all figures do agree,
\n<\/span>But in mankind the best of atoms be.
