\nHow that her sons and servants all are<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> slain,
\nAnd none was<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> left but those that did<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> her slight,
\nAnd in rebellion did<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> against her fight,
\nAnd how<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span> this age did<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span> dirt upon her throw,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nLest she the baseness of the next should<\/span>8<\/sup><\/a><\/span> show.
\nThus mourn\u00e8d<\/span>9<\/sup><\/a><\/span> Honor, veiled in clouds of night,
\nWhen heretofore her garments were of light.
\nHer crown was laurel wreathed with fancy\u2019s tire,
\nHer scepter, Mars\u2019<\/span>10<\/sup><\/a><\/span> sword, made foes retire.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10
\nPallas\u2019 headpiece did<\/span>11<\/sup><\/a><\/span> as her footstool stand,<\/span>12<\/sup><\/a><\/span>

\nAll did obey her; none did break her laws.
\nBut now Dishonor, armed \u2019gainst her, doth rise,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 15
\nAnd all her laws she utterly denies.
\nThen Honor, fearing she should be surprised,
\nAnd<\/span>14<\/sup><\/a><\/span> by her counsel being well advised,<\/span>15<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nDid raise an army to maintain her right;
