The city is the brain, encompassed in<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nDouble walls (dura mater, pia mater thin);<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nIt\u2019s trench\u00e8d round about with a thick skull,<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nAnd faced without with wondrous art and skill.<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nThe forehead is the fort, which is built<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span> high,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nAnd for the sentinels is either<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span> eye.
\nAnd that same<\/span>8<\/sup><\/a><\/span> place where memory lies<\/span>9<\/sup><\/a><\/span> in,

\nThe marketplace, the mouth; when full, begun

\nThis city\u2019s governed as most cities be,
\nBy aldermen, and so by mayoralty.
\nAnd Ob\u2019ron<\/span>16<\/sup><\/a><\/span> King dwells never anywhere
\nBut in a royal head, whose court is there,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 20
