Honor\u2019s brave temple\u2019s<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span> built both high and wide,
\nWhose walls are of clear glass on every side,
\nWhere actions of all sorts are perfect seen,
\nWhere Truth, the<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> priest, approves which worthiest<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> been,
\nAnd<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> on the altar of the world them lays,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nAnd offers them with sacrificing praise,
\nWhich offerings are so clean and without stain,<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span>

\nA tongue, which truth in eloquence doth dress;
\nAnd lips, which worth praises do express;

\nWhose power serves<\/span>21<\/sup><\/a><\/span> from slavery to release;
\nHere speculations from much<\/span>22<\/sup><\/a><\/span> musing grow,

\nWitty inventions, which men profit bring;

\nWhite innocence, as girdles, virgins<\/span>26<\/sup><\/a><\/span> wear,
\nThat only Hymen<\/span>27<\/sup><\/a><\/span> from their waist doth tear;
\nAnd Hymen\u2019s torches, which burn bright and clear,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 35
\nShow jealousy and falsehood ne\u2019er come<\/span>28<\/sup><\/a><\/span> near;
\nGarlands of laurel, which keep ever green,
\nAnd<\/span>29<\/sup><\/a><\/span> for the best of poets crowns have been;
\nThe olive branch, which emblem is<\/span>30<\/sup><\/a><\/span> of peace,
\nIs offered there<\/span>31<\/sup><\/a><\/span> for the world\u2019s good increase;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 40
\nMirtle is laid for lovers that<\/span>32<\/sup><\/a><\/span> are true;
\nAnd for misfortunes is<\/span>33<\/sup><\/a><\/span> the bitter rue;
\nSighs, which from deep compassion do flow out;
\nAnd faith,<\/span>34<\/sup><\/a><\/span> which never knew to make a doubt.
\nThese,<\/span>35<\/sup><\/a><\/span> offered all with grateful hearts in ranks,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 45
\nWere sprinkled with the pure<\/span>36<\/sup><\/a><\/span> essence of thanks,
\nOf pen\u2019tent tears was th\u2019holy water made;<\/span>37<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
