Dishonor in the house of shame doth dwell;
\nThe way is broad, and open is as<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> Hell.
\nThe porter\u2019s he whom Baseness we<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> do call,
\nAnd Idleness is<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> usher of the hall.
\nThe house with dark forgetfulness is hung,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 5
\nAnd round about ingratitude is flung,
\nBoldness for windows,<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> which outface the light;
