To cover noble lovers with the<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> weeds
\nOf ragged shepherds, too low<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> thoughts it breeds,
\nLike as when men make gods to come<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> down low,<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nTake<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span> off all rev\u2019rence<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span> and respect we owe.
\nThen rather make ladies<\/span>8<\/sup><\/a><\/span> fair nymphs to be,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nWho\u2019re cloathed with beauty, bred with modesty;
\nTheir<\/span>9<\/sup><\/a><\/span> tresses long hang on their shoulders<\/span>10<\/sup><\/a><\/span> white,
\nWhich when they move, do give the gods delight.
\nTheir<\/span>11<\/sup><\/a><\/span> quivers,<\/span>12<\/sup><\/a><\/span> hearts of men, which fast are tied,
\nAnd arrows of quick flying eyes beside,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10
\nBuskins, which,<\/span>13<\/sup><\/a><\/span> buckled close with plates of gold,
\nWith strength their legs from base ways back<\/span>14<\/sup><\/a><\/span> do hold.
\nAnd make men<\/span>15<\/sup><\/a><\/span> champions, knights\u2014which honor prize<\/span>16<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nAbove the tempting of alluring eyes\u2014
\nWhich<\/span>17<\/sup><\/a><\/span> seek to kill, or at the least to bind\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 15
\nAll evil passions in a wand\u2019ring mind;
\nAnd<\/span>18<\/sup><\/a><\/span> take those castles kept by scandals strong,
\nThat have by errors been enchanted long,
\nRout monstrous vices, which do<\/span>19<\/sup><\/a><\/span> virtues eat:
\nThese lovers worthy are of praises great.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 20
\nSo will high Fame aloud those praises sing;
\nCupid those lovers shall to Hymen bring,
\nAt Honor\u2019s altar join both hearts and hands;
