There were two hearts an hundred acres wide,
\nHedged round about,<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> and ditched on every side.
\nThe one was very rich and fertile ground,
\nThe other barren, where small good was found.<\/p>\n

In pasture,<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> grass of virtue grew up high,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nWhere noble thoughts did feed continually.
\nSome grew like horses, nimble, strong, and<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> large,
\nFit for the manage, or in war to charge.
\nOthers, like kine, did<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> give the milk of wit,

\nBut sour rye of ill nature up did spring,<\/span>13<\/sup><\/a><\/span>

\nFor he that drinks them<\/span>26<\/sup><\/a><\/span> no affront will take;
