\nNo music\u2019s better than the winds do<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> make,
\nIf all their several notes right places take:
\nThe full, the half, the quarter-note they<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> set;
\nThe tenor, bass, and treble there are met.<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nThe northern wind a strong big bass<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> doth sing;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nThe east is sweet, like a<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span> small treble string;
\nThe south and west the tenor\u2019s parts do take,<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nAnd so, all joined, a fine sweet consort make.<\/span>8<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nAll that this music meets, it moves to dance,

\nThe clouds do dance in circle, hand in hand,
\nWhere in<\/span>10<\/sup><\/a><\/span> the midst<\/span>11<\/sup><\/a><\/span> the worldly ball doth stand.
\nThe seas do dance with ships upon their back,
\nWhere, cap\u2019ring<\/span>12<\/sup><\/a><\/span> high, they many times do wrack,
\nAs men which venture on the ropes to dance\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 15
\nOft tumble down, if they too high advance.
\nBut dust,<\/span>13<\/sup><\/a><\/span> like country clowns, no measure keep,
\nBut rudely run<\/span>14<\/sup><\/a><\/span> together on a heap.
\nTrees grave and civil first bow down<\/span>15<\/sup><\/a><\/span> their head
\nTowards the Earth, then every leaf outspread,<\/span>16<\/sup><\/a><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 20
\nAnd every twig each other will salute;
\nEmbracing oft, they<\/span>17<\/sup><\/a><\/span> kiss each other\u2019s root.
\nAnd so each other plant and flower<\/span>18<\/sup><\/a><\/span> gay
\nWill sweetly dance when as<\/span>19<\/sup><\/a><\/span> the winds do play.
\nBut when they\u2019re out of tune, they discord make,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 25
\nDisorder all\u2014nothing its<\/span>20<\/sup><\/a><\/span> place can take.
\nBut when Apollo with his beams<\/span>21<\/sup><\/a><\/span> doth play,
