The ground on which this house is built so strong<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nIs<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> honesty, that hates to do a wrong.
\nFoundations deep were laid, and very sure,
\nBy love, which to all times will<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> firm endure.
\nThe walls, strong friendship; hearts for brick lay thick,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nAnd constancy, as mortar, made them stick.
\nFreestones<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> of obligations pillars raise,
\nTo bear high-roof\u00e8d thanks, seal\u00e8d<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> with praise.
\nWindows of knowledge let in light of truth;

\nAnd in this palace Nature takes great pride.
