\nTo what a height and vastness Love can grow.
\nLove, as a god, all passions doth create,
\nBesides itself, and those determinate.
\nTo Love bows down and prays devoutly<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> Fear;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nSadness and Grief Love\u2019s heavy burdens bear.
\nAnger makes rage, and<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> envy, spleen, and spite,
\nLike thunder roars,<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> and in Love\u2019s quarrels fight.
\nTh\u2019informing spy of Love is Jealousy,<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nAnd Doubt its guide, to search where th\u2019foes do<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span> lie.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10
\nPity, Love\u2019s child, whose eyes with tears do flow,<\/span>8<\/sup><\/a><\/span>
\nOn every object misery doth<\/span>9<\/sup><\/a><\/span> show.
\nHate is Love\u2019s champion, which opposeth all
