Peace <\/strong>
\nWar makes the vulgar multitude to drink
\nIn at the ear the foul, the muddy sink
\nOf factious tales, by which they dizzy grow,
\nThat the clear sight of truth they do not know,
\nBut<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span> reeling stand, know not what way to take,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5
\nAnd<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> when they choose, \u2019tis wrong, so war they<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> make.<\/p>\n

War
\n<\/strong>Thou flattering and most unjust Peace,<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> which draws
\nThe vulgar by thy rhet\u2019rick to hard laws,
\nWhich makes them silly and<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> content to be,
\nTo take up voluntary slavery,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 10

\nUnquiet<\/span>9<\/sup><\/a><\/span> neighbor, breeding always strife,
