Production & Distribution: 20th C. Fox, 8 Reels
The Ontario Board of Censors cut several lines of dialogue for local screenings, in particular:
- on Reel I-II, the bolded dialogue by Shep: "Yeah, let's have a look at them. Never mind, just give me ten dozen of the kind you are wearing. Here...send a dozen"
- on Reel V-VI, the bolded dialogue by Shep: "There is a new rule here. No service in the dressing rooms. It's all taken care of outside at the tables"
- also on Reel V-VI, the bolded dialogue by Winnie: "It was. We were crowded together in an elevator. By the time we got to the 24th floor we were engaged."
Interestingly, the Board cut a few additional lines, only to reinstate them (Feb. 6 correction). These cases include:
- on Reel I-II, the bolded dialogue by Shep: "Yeah -- you're getting warmer. But I have had a few complaints lately. Have you got anything without so much lace on?"
- on Reel VII-VIII, the bolded dialogue by Frosty: "I don't blame her for disappearing, the way Willie was breathing down her neck."
